Excellent deal on the 128GB option…BF probably will have probably have slightly lower price on the 64GB but I don't see the 128GB option getting much lower than this. IIRC last year's BF deal was $450/$480 for the M1 64GB version.
The iPad Air M2 does not come in 64 GB.. the base model starts at 128 GB on the most recent generation of the IPad Air M2
Is this compatible with procreate and apple pencil gen 2?
No, it's only compatible with the Apple Pencil USB-C and Pro. Of course USB-C doesn't wireless charge so a non-starter to me. The Pro is worth the extra $ and I've seen it posted recently for $99.

120hz screens are better for gaming especially 60 fps.
Assuming here that majority like to play some CoD or similar here.
Also for sporting events.
Did you just say 120hz screens are better for 60 fps games? lol
I'm a gamer too. I think any enthusiast is buying an actual console over an iPad. Even then, 120hz is just starting to become more prevalent in gaming and most console gamers are still playing at 60hz.
Virtually no difference in performance between last gen and this gen except for price unless you telling me you run photoshop, final cut pro and Lightroom while shooting a 4k video on your iPad pro ?
in fact I'll go as far back as m1 iPad pros are good
There is a difference but is it worth the $900 more - trade in? idk. Everyone has a diff value system and it's not just $$ to me. ( I mean the m4 here but most apps people won't notice a huge diff)
No, I don't run photoshop or anything heavy on my m4. I just run a very fast youtube and netflix on a very bright screen with great colors and deep black LOL!
I gave my kids Air M2 so they can run apple intelligence on it when it's released. They'll make good use of it I'm certain.

Same as their MacBook line. Same as their iPhone line.
Consumers are better off with lower prices and increased battery life. My $0.02.

So no straight winner, both chips and models have trade offs. Just want to get this as a gift, and make sure it's performant for a long time.
