Agreed. My Fold4 had the built in screen protector peeling already right out of the box. Never met a fold owner that hasn't had some sort of issue. They're cool phones, but pretty fragile, and Samsung care is basically mandatory for the fold line.

Fwiw I've had a Fold4 for just under 2 years now. It's needed repairs twice under warranty and most recently the third time out of warranty will cost $699 to fix the battery connector that came loose.

My recommendation is to buy this only if you have a backup phone ready to roll (for 1-2 weeks for each repair) and to get an extended warranty that goes beyond the standard 12 months.

Same comes out to $1097.99 for me. Check on the color, only one has the extra discount. Also if purchase from the Samsung shop app there's still a $50 off $500 deal.

The gen3 is 40% worse than the 8 elite in OnePlus 13. Battery sucks on fold 6, it needs all the efficiency it can get. Camera isn't impressive on the F6, maybe F7 will get 200mp.

It's been $647 with edu + S23U trade in for a few weeks now. I'm tempted!

I know I'll prob get grilled and thumbs down for this possible pipe dream...but am I crazy to hold out for < $500 price point w the edu/S23U trade in scenario? Possibly with a BF sale?

Not sure I'm ready for the big trade offs either (Fold = less durable, lower quality camera, worse battery)

For what it is worth, my experience is that I am still rocking my Fold 3 going on 3 years and only issue I had was screen protector coming up from inner screen which I just took off - this was after first year and I had no issues for 2 years so far. Now, I am seeing small crackling on the surface of the inner screen right around the fold. I can barely feel it on my finger, display itself isn't affected though but I am still kicking myself for not pulling trigger for $520 with trade in about 2-3 weeks ago and now the trade in credit for my fold 3 has decreased to $800 and what is worse is that since "discount without trade in" is now at $500, it effectively means my trade in is only valued at $300. Wish they would increase it to $1000 trade in to make the trade in effectively worth $500 but I can only dream. Will see what happens during black friday.

I'm in a similar boat with my Fold 3 from the Best Buy AT&T deal. I had the inner screen protector replaced under warranty after just a month, and now it's peeling again in the same spot. I've considered replacing it myself since it's inexpensive on Amazon, but part of me also wants to just trade it in for the ZFold 6. I missed the last deal with the $100 coupon code too, unfortunately. Fingers crossed for some solid offers this Black Friday!

The problem is that phones aren't listed in the Samsung Shop app if you're on an Apple device.

Also, their financing is all screwed up, it looks like somebody forgot the decimal places when they moved the balance from BOA to TD. So $3000.00 is $30.00 total credit now.

Apple doesn't let Samsung sell phones on the app

I can add them to the cart on the web and checkout in the app, but I cannot add them to the cart in the app, I can't even view them in the app.
