Aka a tax break for T-Mobile.
Stop playing games T-Mobile, just donate the money to a good cause and don't spam me with your nonsense
As someone who lives in Western North Carolina, this is appreciated but I'd rather they just donate without adding gamification to disaster relief.

Cheap bastards with their fake ass philanthropy ----- in addition to $10 when anyone texts 'RALLY' to 90999, for a total of up to $1 million.

Wow!!!!! $1 Million dollars, that's 100k people out of the 100 million subscribers they have?

So... first they don't even have the decency to just straight donate INSTEAD they have to play this game of making people text. 2nd, they limit the texts to only 0.1% of their customer base.

Imagine if they just donated $1 for every customer they had. Legit the reason I get so upset when you see some government fines for these companies that amount to practically $5 fine for regular citizen.

Games like this by mega-companies make me cringe. Reminds me of the grocery stores that run their hunger campaigns at the checkout, wanting ME to give to feed hungry people! The supermarket corporations have more money than God and have warehouses full of food, but they want ME to give a few bucks to give food? One has to wonder where the food comes from that I paid for -- the same grocery chain who then is profiting on the selling of the food to feed the hungry?

At least TMobile is only in it for your phone number.

They do say they donate on my behalf, but since they don't have my name and address, not sure how they can do that.

To all the haters: just text the # and move on. Your manufactured outrage isn't helping anyone.

This Post will attract ALLOT of conspiracy theorists...you know the ones that claim fema is holding back supplies and all that nonsene...you know the ones that claim that their buddy, Bob, will load up their trailer and make sure the supplies will get to the people that need it, when they can just donate the funds to a reputable non-profit, like red cross to make a bigger impact..RANT OVER.

I used to think so too until they came in a clutch when my family was displaced by Hurricane Katrina. Who knew?
