Junk stuff
Remember that these are the PRE-Black Friday ("Event One") deals listed, and no one has yet announced the actual Black Friday ("Event Two") and Cyber Monday ("Event Three"). The thread should make that clearer.

iphone 13's used are around $330.. so $200 and a month of service as long as you get put on straight talk verizon network for the 60 day unlock sounds pretty good..

is this what some folks have done in the past?
The iPhone SE 3rd generation for $50 that was recently on the frontpage would be a better value proposition in my opinion because it has the same processor as the iPhone 13 and also has 5G.

Except the people doing phone activations don't work for Walmart. They work for a company that Walmart outsources to. Therefore, they don't even have to answer to the Walmart store manager. I asked the store manager to contact them and the manager doesn't even know their phone numbers. Also, the days I was talking about were the Friday after Thanksgiving and the following weekend. I'm not sure what Walmart being closing on Thanksgiving Day has to do with what I said. Sounds like you've had a much better experience than me but personally I've had a terrible experience in the past with these Walmart phone deals.
I get what you were saying. Not discounting it by all means.

Those 3rd party employees, if you will, have to have an open communication and open availability with Walmart and especially w/ management during store
hours minus break and lunch obviously in case of issue arise ie need Walmart team member to ring up the transaction at the register, open the secured lots, and such.

I meant to say the day after both Thanksgivings and Christmas. No staff available on those days = expensive loss for the organization

Real estate doesn't help you if you own one home, aren't selling, and have nowhere else to go. Insurance and taxes have skyrocketed for most homeowners.
Real estate can be investment property, not just your house. If you own multiple property and have stocks, you are doing well. That is fact.

Anyway, if a family isn't doing well, they probably shouldn't be off trying to consoom and buy random unnecessary crap because of a made up commercialized holiday.

What if someone already has Straight Talk and wants to get the iPhone 13? Currently using an 11.
Just purchase the new phone for $199 and all good to go?

It really depends. Stock market and real estate are at all time highs. If you have any of those assets, you are definitely not hurting.
Sure house prices may be up and that's great for people who can sell ... but for most home owners who are fighting for their lives right now it just means their interest rates are up along with the insurance bills (which have doubled). Less loose change to put in the market across the board renders the markets boom pretty meaningless for most home owners as well.

We've hit diminishing returns on most stuff. Black Friday hasn't been good in like 6-8 years.
