This deal comes up fairly often.

I was trying to stack another year for $49 and went to the cancelation page, but I didn't see the orange banner. Turns out I'm already locked in to renew in July at $49 thanks to stacking on a previous deal.

If they would stop making my shipping orders into delivery orders I might keep this.

I don't want them in my home. I want them delivered to my door, without paying more than the extra i am paying for them membership. That's not possible, unless u don't mind them hanging around begging after they leave the order. I ordered every week for 2 months on my mom's account, & 80% of the time, they would stay & knock, knock, knock, knock for 5+ minutes. The only reason had to be to get a tip. I out waited them, but i shouldn't have to. Not worth it IMO.
I've had Plus since they started it. I've had probably 100+ deliveries and no one has ever hung around waiting for a tip. They drop off the package, take a photo and leave.

You probably live on the nice side of town in the suburbs. I remember those days myself. There is no nice side of town where I live now. Thanks Joe.

When i used it for groceries & told the app to leave outside my door, the drivers would knock for 5+ minutes sometimes, waiting to hopefully get a tip. I didn't want to interact with anyone, so i waited, but only if i put a tip on the order when i ordered would they not do that.
I just renewed my Walmart+ Subscription for a 2nd year... and the biggest issues seem to all come from the delivery people. Everyone is going to have a totally different experience depending on their 'driver'. Some will stand outside and wait for a tip, some might walk over your grass, some might drop everything and run, or forget half your bags, or give you someone elses order.. and that's the biggest issue I have with the service.

Super, super useful for avoiding having to go into a walmart store (especially in times like.. this week! I can have stuff delivered to my door for free instead of fighting thanksgiving crowds).

I have had so many problems (in multiple cities) having orders delivered with multiple items.. Want to order 1 can of Rockstar? Probably going to be fine. Want to order 4 cans of rockstar? Good luck with all 4 showing up in the bag. Whether it's the store staff not counting, or the driver stealing something, or the stuff falling out of their bag (or them forgetting a bag) it's always a hassle and then you have to decide if it's worth fighting with walmart for the $4 in missed drinks they left out of your order.

But when it works, it works great.

One other note, if you have an EBT Card (whether you're using it or not), if you add it to your walmart account as a payment method.. they'll deliver your orders for free with no minimum (as long as it contains an EBT-Eligible item, even if you're paying with a credit card or paypal and not using the EBT card). I had one in the past that is still linked to my account and is a huge help when you're not able to hit that $35 minimum.

Do you tip your Amazon drivers or your mailman/person?

The tipping culture is out of control in the U.S.

Businesses (should) pay their employees and staff fair wages and health insurance, and the consumer should pay for the products. It's just that simple.
Few years back, I got a holiday card from my UPS driver that said "Merry Xmas, from your UPS man Henry".

Needless to say it was the first and only time I got one of those since the guy was fishing for a tip and didn't get one. Best part is they get pair a boatload of cash to drive a freaking box truck around the neighborhood delivering packages, and dude had the nerve to fish for a tip just for performing at his overpaid job haha

The Deal did not show up using the email received for this deal, the only option was to use the Walmart+ Assist to get for the stated price, which guess I could have always done being one of the former working poor... Good luck to those who could get the deal. My Paramount+ was set to expire end of year through the stats site so I took the deal they offered being on snap.

No not at sams bc sams club is normally already lower than surrounding stations. It's not always true tho. I live in philly and sams is always cheaper than surrounding stations, I often go to jersey and it's not much cheaper in jersey bc in nj many stations have a lower cash price than a card payment.

I did not find the plus membership useful, as some items I wanted to order were not included in free delivery. Walmart treats employees like dirt! This company can afford to pay employees much higher wages. Amazon will only gain more business due to this cheap azz company
