I can attest to this. The basic Crocs are garbage, but the Croc Echos are ultra comfortable and feel great after a work out. Felt so damn nice after the first that I bought two more pairs. However, be sure to size down, they run LARGE.

These things are horrible! $70? come on.. Worth maybe $10. These things are NO WHERE NEAR as comfy as the OG Adidas slides. Not even close. Adidas are at least 15x more comfy and look cleaner. I've had it with crocs. I'VE HAD IT. They suck. Gave them a chance twice, they SUCK. Extremely uncomfortable. Not sure why people say they are comfy. they are NOT. Just walking on stiff silicone. How is that comfy? Idk, what the deal is.... but $10 is the price tag I'd put on them. If you want comfy, get the OG Adidas slides... trustttttttt me. Buy both if you want. Slide your foot in them, and I'll bet money you'll be returning those crocs and keeping the Adidas slide cloud foams.

I felt that was going to be the case bare foot with those... As you said, they're great with socks.. When it gets cold, it'll be great then too
