Idk if they changed the design on these things at all but I bought one a few years ago and when I accidentally dropped it, the thin plastic piece inside broke rendering it useless. I love the break-away razor blades and have tried a bunch of different brands, OLFA is my go-to.

Same. OLFA is not as cheap but the difference in quality makes it worth the additional cost to me. Their scissors and shears are great as well.
