lucky for them the coupon is one time use, i'd have put in so many orders otherwise
For comparison purposes, Costco sells these in 8 packs for $14.79 and they were on sale for $4.80 off this past summer which makes that deal a little better. I stocked up so I'm good for a while.
This is my go to for 2 lunches per week. I put half a bag over a baked potato or two. Healthy and filling lunch.

you can buy dried lentils for cheaper in bulk and boil them yourself. it's easy and you avoid the plastic
Agree 100%, but these are on occasions very useful for travel, weather by vehicle or with a pack.

These are terrible if you consider them as Indian food, they almost have tex mex taste. On the other hand they are delicious if you make tacos with them.

Agree with above - these will do in a pinch but they're not that great. In fact, I highly recommend Trader Joe's Indian fare. They have similar offerings which taste extremely good and quite authentic.

Very observant. That means *not vegan* as I stated. It has milk.

Exactly. I don't eat this alone. I use them in combo with whatever I have around. Tomatoes, eggplant, onions, garlic, garbanzo beans, other spices, etc.

It's been several years since I've had these, also bought on Amazon with a S&S deal. I think I paid about the same price - about $1.50 per pouch. This stuff is awesome. I would usually put it over some jasmine rice and it's a great meal just like that. If I had leftover chicken or something, I'd put a few slices on top.

Love this stuff, but would never pay the regular, everyday price for it.

If you are you going to have to cook and add stuff then why not just cook the lentils as well? This is instant food if you have to add stuff it isn't instant.. But I do buy these add hot sausage, garlic and onion powder. Smilie Not trying to authentic just eating what I like.

You may not like it much if you are an Indian (you may have to add up some stuff to it to make it good) :-)
