Personally, I went with generic $3 Airtags from AliExpress and bought a cheap iPhone 12 from Metro for $35 solely for tracking stuff. iPhone users can't disable this feature on their phones so probability of pinging an iPhone is much higher than Samsung. I'm a Samsung guy myself...I use an S24U as my daily, but the SmartTag is too pricey for very limited coverage.
