Originally I was looking at the Senada Saber, but now I see that this is on sale for about the same amount. What is the biggest differences between this Archon and the Saber?

Herald is also a similar price, about $70 more. They all seem to have similar motor specs, same tires (26x4), same brake choices, etc.

Archon says 21-speed shifting, so it must have a triple chainring up front (3x7). Which honestly seems weird for an ebike. Due to the speeds these are capable of, you'd ideally want a big chainring. You will probably not use the two smaller ones at all.

Personally, I think the Archon looks pretty bad with all the exposed cables everywhere. The Saber and Herald look like the same bike - just high-step (top tube) and low-step (Herald). HOWEVER, when you select 1000w Saber, you see exposed cables running along the bottom of the top tube. But not when you select 750w or either version of the Herald. Confusing.

Personally, I'd go with the Herald - if you ever have to sell, low-steps are more popular (easier to get leg over) and it's the cleanest looking one IMO.

I bought this with upgraded battery and hydraulic brakes for $100 extra. Received on 11/13 about 3-4 business days. Well packaged and no damage box via FedEx. Excellent directions, maybe 45 minutes to assemble. This bike is awesome, I can sell for $200 profit easily probably. That's all I know, hope no problems, don't know anything about their customer service but it appears to be a very slick deal.

Kansas and Oregon are the only states that I am aware of in which 1000 watt ebikes are legal on public roads, trails and paths (unless you get them registered and insured as a motor vehicle).

750 watts is the legal limit practically everywhere. But don't take my word for it, or the manufacturer's. Look up the laws in your own state AND in the municipalities, parks, or lands, in which you intend to ride. I think most of you will find that these aren't legal for your intended purposes.

So I've been looking around and looking at controllers.... seems the word trickery is something like this in the industry. If it says 1200w or even 1438w PEAK it really means 750w average so you have a 750w motor. If it says 750w or 750w peak, it really means it will average 500w so you have a 500w motor. Seems they will go with the largest SOUNDING number.
750w isn't a bad number and gives you compliance with class 3, unless your state, like mine, puts on extra requirements.

Same...Delivery came 4 days after I ordered. Took me about 90 minutes to put together ans break down box for disposal. It is stupid fun to ride. Easily hits 35-MPH. Only complaint is that the 21-Speed seems unnecessary, and several of the settings seem to create chain noise. So essentially, I have it set to one of the more difficult settings to pedal and simply use the throttle to get started. It is definitely worth the price and I've gotten several compliments on how it looks.
