Did they raise the price to $26.95 and then put out a code to bring it down because it seems it's always been either $20 or $16, not $26.95. The price graph shows it's always $16 making this deal 28 cents less.

No that's a Poe adapter. This is for adding a wired connection to a laptop or desktop without one

I bought one when it was $12.99, and it's fantastic .... aluminum, not plastic, and the speed is superfast. Couldn't tell a difference between my motherboards Intel NIC and this USB-C external Ethernet. The driver was easy to find and download. Very pleased with the quality and performance. I did see drivers for Apple and Linux as well.

The price is good for a 2.5Gbps adapter, now all you need is a 2.5Gbps router at a good price.

Doesn't the Mac mini has the Ethernet port built in? What is your use case for this product with it?

Yes it has 1Gbps or you can pay $100 to upgrade it to 10Gbps

I am connecting most of my devices to 2.5Gbps where possible. Not going to make a huge difference except for file transfers etc.

The other use case would be if you have faster than 1Gbps internet then you'd want to make sure you upgrade the ethernet or test your wifi to make sure you are making the most of it.
