I bought an LT in 2022 and it randomly and completely bricked about 2 months out of warranty—totally unresponsive and can't even factory reset it with the button. Not sure, but if it had a USB port, I could potentially recover and restore the OS and firmware, but without it, it's a paperweight.

edit: mine says returned by ups also. Pretty ridiculous and then no refund for that great rug pad.
edit 2: They just refunded it, but they refunded the amount after coupon was applied to the whole order. So only geting 70 cents back.,..
The major difference is that the Ultra can decode ATMOS sound while the LT can only pass it through to another device. The Ultra also has a USB port so you can watch downloaded or personal content without an internet connection. The remotes differ as well: the Ultra offers a custom programmable button to launch/do anything you want, but the LT only has the predetermined shortcut buttons to the popular streaming services. The Ultra has the fastest processor they offer while I believe the LT is a step down and uses the same processor as the 4K sticks.
If you want the best quality 4K picture, want to stream from USB because you travel where internet may not be reliable, and/or you have Atmos capable speakers, the Ultra is the one you want. If you're like most people and don't have or care about anything but saving money while getting a good experience, go with the LT.
