If you have a BofA credit card, this is stackable with a 15% CB BankAmerideal, bringing the price down to $765.

Warning though, in my opinion, bank amerideals are a pain in the $*@&.

I can't justify spending $900 on a phone unless I won the lottery.

I bought this phone then immediately returned it as I just didn't like it. So I purchased a new 1TB S24 Ultra for 822 + tax which came out less than this using the Samsung Edu discount. 128gb is a minuscule amount of storage and the 90 day warranty is a red flag. On top of this woot is a bit sketchy. Hard pass on this deal.
I don't care for this deal but woot isn't sketchy? It's been owned by Amazon for years. Plenty of woot deals have been shared here.

Can you elaborate on the last part? Why is BankAmerideal bad?

Be aware, this is the Canadian model, which means it will constantly say "thank you" after you do basic things with it, and keeps saying "sorry" whenever you press the back button. A little annoying but it is quite a polite little phone

Verizon was giving these away for "free" without a trade-in when they first came out.

Still had to pay taxes and activation fee. But for about $100 it was a good deal. Stacking that with military discount, I pay $45 a month for plan and phone combined. Locked in for 3 years is a bit of a pain, but it was a killer deal.

Yeah minimum nowadays should be 256GB. 128GB is the equivalent to 64GB back in 2019.

My Pixel 8 pro battery immediately ran out when it reaches out to 10% which is super annoying. Battery is pretty bad. Does 9 pro XL has the same battery issues? It basically means 20% is 10% and 10% is just a fake number since it will turn off in a matter of minute
Never had issues with the 8 Pro, but the 9 Pro XL lasts noticeably cooler and longer for me.

I bought a few things from them in the past 2 years that were advertised as new but were definitely used. I do not trust where they get their products.

Probably preference than anything else. I had used Note 2, Note 4, Galaxy S9, iPhone 3, 3s, 6plus, XR, XSMax, 13 Pro Max (hand me down older model) and Pixel 2XL, 4a, 4XL, 6, 7Pro, and found that Pixel is best suit for me.

Galaxy has too many "stuffs" that I don't use and I found myself preferring the Google apps. But my families stay with Galaxy. The other stay with iPhone. The latest apple shenanigan was that they determine that my foreign songs don't comply with their DRM and remove them all from my library.

They all work about the same, cost about the same.
I also owned every iteration of the Galaxy phones from S4 to S22+. We also got the S24+ for my wife recently as she thinks the Pixel looks too masculine and she wouldn't switch Smilie

Anyway, I switched to Pixels with the P7, then P8P, then P9PXL.

To me, the Pixels are absolutely superior to the Galaxy phones. I helped set up my wife's S24+ and was immediately reminded about how ridiculously bloateware ridden Samsung phones are. There are two apps and two ecosystems for everything - Samsung and Google.

The camera on the Pixel, at least on the 8 and 9, are also significantly better than the regular Galaxy's ( never had the Ultras, so can't compare).

The only things I miss is that my new Galaxy Watch does not support all the features when paired with my Pixel. Also miss the Samsung email app.

Edit. With that said, I wouldn't pay $900 for a 128gb. Not Pixel, not any other phone. There are better deals to be had.

Details of grief other slickdealers have had with a similar BankAmerideal are here:

https://slickdeals.net/f/17706303-boa-has-15-cashback-for-newegg

That said, I didn't say bad - just a pain. If it's $100+ off, id still go for it.

Not going to though. Happy with my Galaxy a54 - not dumping money into a flagship phone.

Did not know this. Are the "US model" and the "Canadian model" not compatible, that is, one can't be used in another region?

Apple is just so far ahead of everyone for overall experience in North America at least. Don't recommend any of the Androids.

Is this a joke or for real? I genuinely am interested in learning what the "Canadian model" is compared to the regular version.

The modem would show 2 bars and it was actually 0 bars. It didn't have anywhere close good reception say like a galaxy phone
