For members, this Costco deal is something to consider. Charger has a smaller footprint and you get a second as well

The OP's details and Best Buy "Features" section indicates it is GaN II.

I appreciate your comment that these are different. I noted the Costco chargers are something to consider, not that they're superior.

The comments for the post from yesterday note this charger tends to fall out of wall sockets due to the size (link:https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/fp/1016187). The Costco charger has a smaller footprint, which is good to note/potentially important to some buyers.

Respectfully, the majority of users' charging needs will be met with the Costco version.

TL;DR - Both of these sales are great charging options. There are trade offs. Be aware

Tongue-in-cheek, much like sarcasm doesn't always translate clearly through text. Some people on the web are simply that stupid. Don't put anything past anyone
Well it really is tongue-in-cheek and not really sarcasm because the original post was poking fun at people who didn't like this deal because it wasn't GaN much like people who didn't like an electronics deal simply because it didn't have HDMI.

It's an inside joke among seasoned Slickdealers. Whenever a monitor, TV, laptop, or video card is listed, you can expect comments complaining about the lack of an HDMI port, claiming the deal isn't worth it. Now you'll see comments about "no GaN", the same way in the past there will be comments about "no HDMI".
There's actually a little more to it lol. It's gotten more ridiculous such that it could be a completely different item than those (specifically, not even an electronic at all), and still get the "No HDMI, hard pass" reply. Such as deals for toothpaste, towels, books, or jackets. It will be inevitable to eventually see the "no GaN?" comments on deals for Walgreens toothpaste.

Actually they both have PowerIQ 3 but the nano II has the USB-c ports labeled with poweriq3 and the USB-a port labeled with poweriq2. I don't think there actually is a difference as Anker links the same PDF manual for both devices. Looks like it's just a rebadge. both should be model a2667
The Anker 735 Nano II listed earlier is model A2667. This one is model A2662.

Yes, I know what you mean and it's become old and stale, thus, simply just trolling at that point.

I have the Costco set. It does pps.
A difference is this one is is power iq 3 while the Costco one is power iq 2. That means this one dynamically splits power among the ports based on actual usage. The Costco one has fixed power splits based on what's plugged in
That's definitely not PPS. The whole point of PPS, programmable power supply, is to dynamically split voltage. If it's fixed split how is that programmable?
And the IQ thing is a proprietary Anker thing.

From Anker's own website-
Programmable Power Supply (PPS) is a standard that refers to the advanced charging technology for USB-C devices. It can modify voltage and current in real-time by feeding maximum power based on a device's charging status.

PIQ, PIQ 2.0, PIQ 3.0 - Anker's proprietary charging technology

PIQ 1.0 (abbreviation for Power IQ 1.0), PIQ 2.0 (abbreviation for Power IQ 2.0), and PIQ 3.0 (abbreviation for Power IQ 3.0) are Anker's proprietary fast-charging technology, which Intelligently identifies your device to deliver the fastest possible charge.

Power IQ 1.0: Supports 5V/2.4A max
Power IQ 2.0: Compatible with QC 3.0 + Power IQ 1.0
Power IQ 3.0: Compatible with QC 3.0 + PD 3.0 + Power IQ 1.0

Got it. but being able to tell if someone being tongue and cheeks is more difficult to pick up over simple text. I understand sarcasm is different but my point is, both of these can be hard to pickup through simple text. Communication is more than just written text. It's everything from tone of your voice ,your facial expression, hand movements, uneven Suttle inflections within the voice and so forth. Language is more complex than just text and many things are undetectable through written words but anyways I understand the running joke now but on this particular product, someone might actually be looking for a GaN specific in a charger. After all, It's more efficient than the older silicon based chargers that I needed to be larger due to heat build up simple text can due inefficiencies This new element makeup is apparently superior to its silicon based counterparts

Falls out of the electrical socket due to its weight and design.

Been using this for a while (and might pick up a 2nd), here's a mini-review:
- Fairly compact; the length initially seems a little weird, but (in use) it tends to slide nicely into corner pockets and stuff for travel
- I've had it fall out of LOOSE wall sockets, but it's not an everyday occurrence. This shouldn't be a major concern unless you routinely encounter specifically loose sockets
- as a counterpoint, I just tend to plug it into vertical sockets anyway (hotel lamps, surge protectors, etc.) That's where it lives when at home, with (obviously) zero issues
- Things seem to charge quickly in practice. I travel with a Switch, MBA, iPad 10", Kobo e-Reader, Pixel, and Pixel Buds...all taking advantage of those two USB-C ports

For $20, I'd say this is a great deal (even as a backup/2nd device)

I know this is slightly unrelated to this post, but through a stupid TikTok video suggestion, I bought a package of "outlet expanders" off Amazon. They are a tiny piece of plastic that slides into a socket before you plug in an adapter. They've been a godsend for fixing the loose wall sockets at coffeeshops and hotels.

Edit: Found my old order - this is a link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CF9S23NZ

Any good 100Watt chargers?

If you're looking for 100W in a single port (for a laptop), I bought this one a few weeks ago when it was a recommended deal on here for $24. IMO, even at retail of $30, it's a pretty good price.

Are you actually going to explain how GaN isn't good and just marketing bs? Do you think all chargers are created equal?

Thank you for this suggestion. These should help with a few loose sockets I have around the home.

And if you click on the white version of that, it is just $21.99
