I wish the pull-up bar was higher. I'm only 5 foot 10 and my feet touched the ground when trying to dead hang.

I have this, in conjunction with a squat rack and row machine. I use this machine 4 days a week and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Well built, and I haven't felt a need to go higher on the weights. Very smooth pulley system. We stuck this in a corner of the garage and couldn't be happier. I recommend!

Are we sure on that info? "Centr 2 is equipped with two 165 lb. weight stacks (330 lb. in total),"
Yeah. The pulley has a 2:1 ratio for a resistance of 85 lb per pulley.

Not enough weight plates to be useful for serious weight training. Probably OK for fitness training with weights rather than real strength training.

the version with smith machine has a mechanism that "doubles" the resistance to the actual weight just for the bar - page states you can get it up to 360 lbs

Also there's a cheap hack alternative to the 5lb add on weights for cable machines to get smaller increments between the 10lb plates - buy magnetic tool tray from harbor freight, pop magnet off, and gorilla glue 1.25 and 2.5lb plates onto them. Cost about $5 each instead of $25-30.

You put two 2.5lb plates on either side for 1/2 plate increment and two 1.25 for 1/4 plate increments. Seats securely on top of the stack magnetized to the pulley. Could theoretically get 5-10lb plates to do the same to get the stack heavier but not sure if magnets are strong enough for that.

Dead hang means letting the entire body stretch out. No knee bending or legs in front of you.

These are great. And this is a wonderful deal. I got it for this price with the last floor model. So it was already assembled. It was just a strange delivery getting it home. But Costco told me to get with a company called GoShare. Two guys and box truck were there in 45 minutes and got it to my garage with ease.

Surprised it hasn't sold out quick like it did last year...I got this last Dec for this price and it's been great. I'm in decent shape and ive had no issues with the weights. Yea maybe you have to get creative sometimes but I've been very happy with this addition to my garage gym.

Snagged one, I've been kicking myself for not getting one last time they were on sale.

I talked to the company that makes this to see if I can add additional weight and they said the frame and pulley system cannot handle more weight and I shouldn't add it....

It's pretty solid...I know people have. The company can't tell you yes because if something happens or you get hurt it falls back on them

Just got mine a few hours ago. Delivery went very smooth. Now just need to spend a few hours to take each individual part from the garage to the basement lol. Hopefully it was worth the effort in the end.

This went out of stock quickly in MA near me. I have been checking back every few days with the hope it comes back in stock before end of month sale ends. Historically, once it's gone is that it, or is there is there still hope I can get this on sale this year?
