Got it on the previous $219 deal. Good value for the money. I'm using the eARC function and playing content from my LG TV and a WII attached to the TV via HDMI. TV power and volume can control the amp. I have a 5.0 speaker setup as my left/right front channel have 10in woofers and can replicate low sounds well. The included microphone and calibration work well and the vocal audio calibrated to a much better setup than my older previous amp. I'm very happy with it. Only complaint is I haven't figure out the best way to setup my Blu-ray player with it and the TV.

OK those speakers look like they were part of HTiB set up.
Most of the time they can be used with standard receivers/amps
I have two Onkyo receivers from 15-20 years ago that are very similar in output and relative features. They were both HTIB, and dirt cheap, all things considered. They're both starting to get a little finicky, but again, 20 years old.
I just upgraded my TV after 11 years to Sony Bravia 7 and im using my old Denon AVR X1000 powering 3.1 set up....Polk RTi A1 bookshelfs, matching center speaker and Infinity subwoofer.
My about 11 year old Denon is getting old and tired so would that be a good replacement that does 8K to run my 3.1 ? I have PS5, Bluray Player, streaming android box, and mini PC. I want the 4/8K upgrade,
Thanks guys
