good board , but it does have the Intel i225-v ethernet that still gives SOME people fits . They never properly fixed it, even with various revisions, and even in AM5 boards it still is flaky for SOME people.
The stock you see on Woot for 99.99 with 1216 amazon ratings is from seller Shop 1-Click on Amazon , and is fulfilled by Amazon

Have this and one other board with that same chipset, can confirm its unreliable even with troubleshooting. I had to end up investing in an add on PCI-E card for ethernet.

yes, I read that a lot of owners did the same thing. Were you getting drop outs above 1gbps?
I have the board too, but only need the wireless. It's a royal screwup on Intel's part that I 'm sure cost Asus some bucks in returns and lost sales.

Short of forcing it to go to 10 megabits it was dropping all the time

time is measured different in the computer world. This board is considered old at 4 years of age and it was the good ole days 4 years ago, whereas I'm old and 1968 was the good ole days for me.

I use this board for my workstation, so on Ubuntu with a 5950x. Can't speak for anyone else, but it works perfectly fine for me. No Wi-Fi issues or anything, didn't have to do anything to fix it.

wow, that's 1.25GB a second. That's a lot of data. I remember the old 56K dialup modems that were considered cutting edge.
