Agree it's annoying to have to sign up for view locations.
Edit: per replies you can now search locations on their website before signing up
It's a pretty killer discount if there are participating restaurants near you.
On top of the 35% savings from the gift card, the inKind app has various promos
Easiest example is a monthly benefit for $10 off a $30.
So monthly you can go out, spend $30, promo to $20, then paying at 65% makes it a $13 meal.
You cannot pay the tip with the gift card though, so you have to add a credit card to your inKind app to pay those overages.
edit:can pay tax as others corrected
I've had good experience with the checkout- staff seem to know how it works. you just go on the app, tap the location you're at and enter the check number from the bill and do a normal online checkout process. I alway mention to the waiter I paid in the app but you just walk out.
Heads up they also do $25 referrals (I'm not fishing for them)

As for the deal - this can be HUGELY valuable for people who live in areas rich with InKind partners. Keep in mind that you can create a new account if you have an additional phone number and email to use the introductory bonus multiple times, stacking deals to get great discounts.

lb steak has a solid happy hour burger/fries for $10. they added bamboo sushi which is convenient in that san ramon mall area that has delarosa, dumpling time, lb steak, world of wrapps all there which currently take inkind.
as others noted, restaurants can drop off but it seems they do add others- checking who is near you is key- but if so, the use case is a no brainer with costco discounted egc to load on top of stacking promos.
inkind has great stacking/double dipping opportunities- they did change their terms on the earned credit back (offer 10-15% back on every dining purchase and other promos to trigger extra 10% with 2 visits by x time/end of the month etc).. now expires 2 months after awarded- so just fyi on that - i had built up ~$100 and decided time to use at some point when there's no monthly 10 off 30 or other promo to stack.
