I don't know what they're comparing its size to. I saw these at Home Depot, and picked up the 2-pack of the 25' version. Supposed to be compact, but it's the same size as my older Stanley 25'. I like it more though.

I don't know what they're comparing its size to. I saw these at Home Depot, and picked up the 2-pack of the 25' version. Supposed to be compact, but it's the same size as my older Stanley 25'. I like it more though.

I almost picked up this two pack as an impulse buy at HD. It was $20, and looked solid.

I bought one of these to replace my Stanley tapes and I love them. They're so much lighter and easier to use that I replaced all my tapes with these.

Most people can spare $4. Most people don't want to store the longer and MUCH larger reel style measures that go over 25'

This is a cheap easy compromise for that few times you do need the length. Even small houses can easily have runs 25'+

I've started carrying 10' or 16' tapes because for residential use I rarely need more than that and the smaller tapes are so much more convenient. In the rare occasion that my tape is too short, I just measure to a midpoint and add the numbers together.

I have the atomic drill & impact. What makes these tape measures atomic? Do they use the 20 Volt batteries also? Just because Dewalt slaps an atomic sticker on everything thats supposed to make it better?
