My Son In Law chatted with Discover online via their chat customer service on their website and asked if he could get a lower APR and they gave him for 12 months for 0.00% APR.

This is perfect time for the holiday season and they even gave it to me as well!

He suggusted I told my other family members about it so I thought I would share it here too.

Good luck all and I hope everyone else gets it too! I am sure not all will be able to get it but worth the try!

Yes, and with interest rates still fairly high this is free money with no risk in exchange for a slightly lower credit score. There are no finance charges unless you don't pay the balance before the 0% rate ends. I'm not an expert on how Fico scores are calculated but it will drop your score some until you pay it off.

Not really.. been doing this for years in a row alot of it is due to cred score... History and such, there system can offer you two deals at the same time.., I had two offers a few months back when I was inquiring about 0% again and they offered that or 11% apr I went with 0 of course never carry a balance so 11 isn't a deal to me

I don't comment much but this is wrong. They have US based support and it's quite good. I've had a couple things I've called about in my years with them and every encounter was pleasant and they were genuinely helpful. Not sure what happened to you but I have nothing but good experiences with their support.

I got the 0% for 12 months, and they credited back a couple hundred dollars for the interest charged last month. Winner 🏆 thanks OP

If at first you don't succeed… Went on chat the other day, and the rep told me I could only get the 0% offer if I opened a new card. Tried again today, and the rep applied the 0% promo to my account in about two minutes. Thanks, OP!

You able to break down how you invest with this?
Like I'm just borrowing from Peter to pay Paul?
CC=you just pay your items with this offer?
There's no direct correlations with CC balance to investing is where I'm at.

Avg savings account is 4.5% which is something, but not super great @EOY either.
Probably CD or fed bonds if going the best next to no risk route.
Then you make the minimum payment and you're good?
Just ensure you set a reminder and set aside to payoff at end of promotion?
