thanks for the tip. I downloaded the google one app. and also found the "upgrade to gold level" available in 3 days offer.
Google Fi is offering a $500 back if you sign up for Google Fi with the new phone. It's not all at once, it's stretched out at like a $20 credit on your phone bill over several months. Now, there is some kind of incentive for select trade ins, unless you go with the Verizon offer (it's like 1k back over 36 months I think, but you wouldn't be able to cancel the plan after without having to possibly pay 2k just to pay off the phone- yes it really says this in the terms, literally like $1,900.)
With that said, there's an eligible trade in offer if you have a particular phone. Mine wasn't much, mine is in good shape but it's a pixel 4a, so max i would get is $150. I would suggest getting a value estimate to see what yours is, don't forget to de-select the box that would allow them to give you less money back if they think it's worth less for some reason.
But in theory, if you select the pixel 9 pro at 999, base model, select unlocked without a plan, and are able to trade in a phone and get that $760 back PLUS the 30% off, you'd be in at about $166/167, before taxes and fees.
