After doing the $5 sub I didn't see the Skip to Gold under my rewards but it was located on my main page of the Play Store app. Here is a screenshot of what to look for if you can't find it: https://imgur.com/a/iPHD9kR

Once I skipped to gold, the 30% off coupon showed up under Perks when you look at your Play Points by clicking the blue point total on the top of the main page https://imgur.com/a/DKZNsyg

I just placed an order for a Pixel 9 Pro XL, by upgrading the Google One to get 10% back and getting the play pass one month sub to get the 30% off coupon. Got a $450 trade-in for my Pixel 6 Pro, which I had lying around. Maybe Black Friday will have better deals, but someone mentioned that promo trade-in values end on 11/7, so I did not want to take a chance.

I would be very surprised if BF deals are better. Some of the pricing with trade-in values with the 30% discount are close to Google paying you to upgrade. I don't see them surpassing this, I would be surprised if they even made this same deal available to the general public.
