Might be worth it for the PCIe 4.0 riser cable alone.

There was a PCIe 3.0 riser on sale for $15 the other day. In this case, for $20, you can get a 4.0 cable plus the mounting bracket. Nothing else can beat this deal right now, for those who want or need something like this.

The white one is $35 (+75%) after the coupon, sadly.

huh? why not a popsicle stik to prevent sag? waste of money imo
Build a $1500 gaming pc....use a popsicle stick on $600 GPU because $20 is just too much to throw on top?

You do you....

BTW, pretty sure this also rotates the GPU 90 degrees...not sure what popsicle stick does that.

In theory heavy GPU's can cause bowing on the motherboard causing some people to be concerned with damage over time. A GPU support transfers that weight to the case (as opposed to the motherboard bearing the weight). This one is a little different because it actually rotates the GPU 90 degrees to a vertical position parallel to the mobo. Not sure if there is any real world benefit to that. Maybe airflow in some cases? I could also see it harming airflow in other cases. Cable management may also be easier / harder depending on layout. Lastly your GPU is more visible so if you have a glass sided case that might be important for the people going after a certain aesthetic.

It's more about cosmetics than sag reduction, it rotates your gpu to display in the window. Worse thermals(usually), better appearance

He thinks this is an anti-sag bracket. It is not. This rotates the GPU so you can show off more of it. While it looks cool, I hate the thermals of it. Unless you have an extra wide case, your GPU fans end up blowing into side of the case (with no ventilation) from less than 1 inch away from it.

Allows the graphics card to be mounted vertically to show it off so mostly aesthetics. The riser cable can also help a ton for cases with size restrictions. These riser cables alone usually go for $40-$50 for newer pcie 4.0. This also comes with what looks like a very adjustable mounting bracket so overall great deal at 20 bucks imo.

Actually it is both, I edited my comment above to state that but you replied before I finished.

From the product description:
"Premium Materials, 42% Increased Durability: Premium SGCC steel provides reliable support, eliminating possibilities of sagging or deformation.'

BTW, I was replying to lukem5's comment who stated someone should use a "popsicle stick." Was that for rotating the GPU? Wink

I also stated similar after editing my comment. But again you replied before I could finish the edit so you had no way to know I was going to say something similar.

Little confused on how I posted this originally, now a staffer took it over and gets all the rep...

Looks like this post was "Created Today at 03:39 AM..."by phoinix | Staff" then you also posted the same deal "Today at 08:50 AM" so the two posts were combined, the original post taking over and your later post being thrown into the comments.

Now I do think they should give a user post far more visibility than just dumping your text into the comments (heck, we don't get paid!) with no explanation to why it appears you are just repeating the deal's comments as opposed to that being text from deliberate deal submission.

Regardless it does appear your post was the duplicate by about 5 hours...I've been in the same shoes so I get where you are coming from.
