This one has an app tracker. Take them for another spin-on them!
Huntington is the weirdest/most generous-their terms state every 6 months!
Per DOC 2nd post results-within 60 days is all you need.
Bonus is purely for 2 hits and the bonus drops in weeks.
Don't forget about cashback also-one option is mentioned in at least the later SoFi DD linked results
You need to open brokerage or cd or cc first if you are not in their banking footprint (like me)
This is checking. You don't have to park the money for 3 months. Transfer in and out 4k (give few days space like Monday initiate from sofi and Thursday from usb) twice
You will be failing with the system they use for address verification like lexisnexis and most likely going to be denied during application. See other comments about how to become their customer.
Or update your existing bank account address (not credit unions) to your sister and wait for statement cycle, that will update the address in the lexisnexis too

$8000/90 days of direct deposit is a high bar.
- Some transfers MAY work, but doing so is a workaround that US Bank doesn't like and won't help you with.
- This site has a list of transfers that have worked for others: https://www.doctorofcredit.com/kn...s/#US_Bank [doctorofcredit.com]
- If $8000/90 days is hard for you with "real" direct deposits, you may want to adjust your 401(k) or tax withholding temporarily in January, and pay it back later in the year.
Fees:
- $5.00/month dormant account fee. So, you should Close the account promptly after receiving the bonus or keep using it.
- $6.95/mo monthly fee, waived if you have a $1500 balance, $1000 in direct deposit, or have a US Bank credit card. You'll be doing the $1000 in direct deposit anyway, so this should not be a problem if you time your deposits well.
- I could not find a closing fee or any other potentially onerous fees.
Funds Availability:
- Big direct deposits over $5,525.00, have a 7-day hold may apply - they won't let you transfer all of it immediately to main checking.
- They also may hold transfers over $225 under certain (somewhat unspecified) circumstances. I don't think direct deposits would be affected by this, but they could.
- Most direct deposits are available the next day, so you can move the direct deposits to your real, main checking account pretty quickly.
