I'm retired and living comfortably, so I'll buy whatever suits me. Back when I was earning a living, living paycheck-to-paycheck, there's no way that I'd pay for such extravagances.

sometimes amazon ships them chucked in with non-food items (like detergent, if you have a s&s) and they're not refundable, or they'll be left on a porch on a sunny day and they get all melted, so i've had to go back and forth with them a few times to get replacements in the past
