Em, you buy food for sustainance first. A lot of work and resources goes into making the food. The money you pay for it doesn't actually reflect the value of the food in those terms.
When you return food, it goes to waste and is not resold. They just put it in trash. If the food is not spoiled and you just don't like the taste, please give it away to friends/family/local soup kitchen/neighbourhood bum. You will be out of a few dollars, but you'll be respecting the life sustaining value of food, the environment, and all the hard work that went into producing it.
Are these serious replies? Of course you should return things you don't like. "Just because" you didn't like the taste? What the hell is the other reason you buy food?
Unless you really like this weird flavor, I think a lot of people might mistakenly think this is maple syrup. But instead it's weird flavored sugar syrup that is way more polarizing in flavor. I would have no qualms returning this. I probably should have done that for my bottle.
A few months ago, I found this on clearance at Costco for $8 and change. But that was a real Ymmv.
Also got on this clearance, and still have quite a bit left in the back of the fridge. Funny thing though… reading this thread made me think "I should buy another one?" Gotta get off Slickdeals before I get in trouble…

Just got some last week - LOVE IT. Usually use normal Kirkland brand which i also like but this has a distinct flavor i really enjoy. Guessing that flavor is bourbon but i don't drink so wouldn't know 😂
We use maple syrups in our coffees, my husband loves this one! I stocked up on the special edition maple leaf one as well. It's a much deeper taste than the regular kirkland maple syrup, which i also still buy for the kids and for breakfast things 😁 big maple syrup fans over here. Ill check my costco when i go today! Thanks
We always use the regular Kirkland maple syrup in our coffee too. Are you saying this bourbon one has a deep flavor or the limited edition one? I've been contemplating getting this bourbon one when it goes on sale but not if it just tastes the same as the regular Kirkland one.

The special edition one is a deeper flavor, sorry for confusion!
If i rank them, it'd be special edition > bourbon > normal kirkland.
I have been seeing it the last few months, intrigued but I don't really need a tub of maple syrup.
But when I saw the coupon book a few weeks ago I was going to keep my eye out for it. (i'm a sucker for their items when on sale ! )
I was going to grab it last night , but didn't see it. The app shows its available, maybe i'll check the other location this weekend
