CVS Info:

First of all, you will need a CVS ExtraCare card. This is obtained easily at any store at the register. Some will ask you to fill out the form then and there, others will just give you the card and ask you to return the form later.

Once you have the card, you can now start CVSing

The biggest thing to understand is that CVS uses a promotional program called ExtraCare Bucks (commonly abbreviated as ECBs.) These print out on your receipt immediately once you purchase an item offering them; almost like an instant-rebate you get at the register. You can turn around and use them anytime on almost anything in the store, except for alcohol, cigarettes, and gift cards.

Often, CVS advertises items as Free after ECB For example, throughout the month of November, CVS has Crest Pro Health Whitening Toothpaste in 4.2 oz size, for free after ECB. The cost is $3.49, but you get $3.49 back instantly on your receipt. The best part is that there are often coupons available that can actually help you earn money like for the above toothpaste, there are $1 off coupons available, meaning the item would be $2.49, but you get $3.49 in ECBs back. The limit on this toothpaste for this month is 2. So if you wanted to start off small to get into CVSing, the thing to do would be to buy one toothpaste in the first transaction (and use a coupon if you have one, so that you either pay $3.49 or $2.49 in cash), then use the $3.49 ECBs you get back from that first transaction to pay for the second tube of toothpaste, and again, receive $3.49 more in ECBs.

The trick now is to roll your ECBs so that you rarely pay more than maybe a dollar or two in tax on transactions, instead using your ECBs from previous transactions then earning more to keep doing the same. Its a cycle (and a game/addiction to some, lol.)

Crisis averted! Whee I went to the apartment office to pay rent and took the kid with me so he could find out how much he'd be paying for a new key. (Yes, I'm mean. laugh out loud) The girl gave us two free keys. Whee Yahoo!
She was so freaking nice to the kid because she said she's an adult and she loses keys all of the time. The new management is farking awesome (for reasons other than this), but that just really made my day. (Hey, I'm not hard to please. laugh out loud)

What a relief.

I'm kind of glad this happened because I really think it made the kid look over his behavior. Maybe he won't get a mark tomorrow. Annoyed (I can dream, right?)
Well, knowing his teacher, she'll find something. Maybe he'll breathe too hard. Annoyed

Oh, yay...I got yelled at. My mom is thinking about going to the mountains. Her anniversary weekend is also Jamie's b'day weekend, so she'd be skipping his party. Anyway, she got a new dog at Christmas and wants me to keep the thing. He's a pretty good dog, but I have a hyper dog already. Robert doesn't want to keep him here and is mad I told her yes, especially since we can barely ever get her to watch our CHILDREN. I see his point, but what can I do? He can't be left alone, and I can't really tell her no. Frown

She won't ask them. She won't kennel him. I can't wait until my sister moves back. She can take him. My sister is trying to get her to take him on vacation with her. She probaboly won't do that either. Annoyed

BTW- if I DID say no, I would be the most awful, ungrateful brat of a daughter EVER.

They do this to me all of the time. No one is ever friggin' happy. He thinks it should be simple to tell her no.....I don't see him telling his dad no to ANYTHING.
