CVS Info:

First of all, you will need a CVS ExtraCare card. This is obtained easily at any store at the register. Some will ask you to fill out the form then and there, others will just give you the card and ask you to return the form later.

Once you have the card, you can now start CVSing

The biggest thing to understand is that CVS uses a promotional program called ExtraCare Bucks (commonly abbreviated as ECBs.) These print out on your receipt immediately once you purchase an item offering them; almost like an instant-rebate you get at the register. You can turn around and use them anytime on almost anything in the store, except for alcohol, cigarettes, and gift cards.

Often, CVS advertises items as Free after ECB For example, throughout the month of November, CVS has Crest Pro Health Whitening Toothpaste in 4.2 oz size, for free after ECB. The cost is $3.49, but you get $3.49 back instantly on your receipt. The best part is that there are often coupons available that can actually help you earn money like for the above toothpaste, there are $1 off coupons available, meaning the item would be $2.49, but you get $3.49 in ECBs back. The limit on this toothpaste for this month is 2. So if you wanted to start off small to get into CVSing, the thing to do would be to buy one toothpaste in the first transaction (and use a coupon if you have one, so that you either pay $3.49 or $2.49 in cash), then use the $3.49 ECBs you get back from that first transaction to pay for the second tube of toothpaste, and again, receive $3.49 more in ECBs.

The trick now is to roll your ECBs so that you rarely pay more than maybe a dollar or two in tax on transactions, instead using your ECBs from previous transactions then earning more to keep doing the same. Its a cycle (and a game/addiction to some, lol.)

Do you Mario Kart? You can totally do this!! Whee

Actually - you should call his supervisor and ask for someone from work to drive him. Or tell them you'll be adding an ambulance ride to your worker's comp claim. Boxing

I fail at crock pot cookery. Sadwalk

Seriously. It's like my house wants me to not have any sort of 10 yr anniversary celebration. We're going to be pouring money into the house instead. Makes me want to get a job. Frown Not an option now, unfortunately... unless I want to work overnights somewhere and that is not going to work for me. Oh well - at least our CC's are empty now so if we have to we can charge it. I hate doing that.

Comfort Stay ahead of the pain. It's harder to catch up than it is to keep the pain away.

Faint Pot roast was AWESOME! Rock DH got out of work a full hour and half earlier than usual so he stopped by the house before his class tonight. (beer brewing 101) He had the bag lunch I'd packed him but tasted the pot roast and loved it. Fantastic!!
