Thanks OP picked up the Bluetooth keyboard. Also seems like they have it for the same price at Walmart.

Bought both these the last time the deal was posted with similar prices. I use the full size KB for everyday wfh and the smaller one for travel or when I have to be at the office. They are well worth it.

I don't know if my work had a discount on top of the price but I just bought the HP 455 for $6.87 on the HP website with free shipping.

Picked up the 355, note that you can pick priority shipping for free too, rather than just standard shipping (at least to NY)

$8.99 is wild, I was just looking at getting a Logitech K380 but it's $38 at the moment. Hopefully this will be at least decent in comparison Stick Out Tongue EDIT: Actually, the work discount wasn't showing up on the first checkout page, but after putting my card info in, I was lowered to $6.43 shipped with priority shipping!

Thanks for posting this OP Smilie

Not necessarily saying this is a bad deal but .. I'm wondering if one should also invest in rechargeable AAA batteries (which I'm guessing will go on sale cheap as we get closer to every slickdeal shoppers favorite time of the year Black Friday Smilie ) given this review from the HP website

"1 out of 5 stars.

Worst battery life, I have used various brands (Duracell, Energizer )AAA batteries but they don't last more than a week and a half of very moderate usage. I spoke with customer support after months of tries and have been given different suggestions such as using lithium-ion batteries or using HP's own batteries, the funny thing is that HP doesn't manufacture AAA batteries."

These seem to be keyboards only.
Any recommendations for a keyboard with a built in mouse/joystick/touchpad? Looking for something to use with a mini-pc connected to a 4K TV, while sitting on a couch 15ft away.

I am considering the compact one for travel. Can you convince me why this is better than the laptop keyboard,?

I got the mini keyboard the last time it was on sale. It's a great compact keyboard for 8.99. But one thing that irks me is that it goes to sleep after a while. Then it takes a few seconds to reconnect again. Okay, maybe one more annoying thing is the oddly shaped arrow keys.

Did you try Device Manager>>Keyboard>>Properties>>Power Management to check if windows will power down the keyboard to save power. Or it could be in your Bluetooth properties
