The better option is to select "Audiovideodirect" direct for the seller. Then you get it for $22.87 instead of $22.93, and it is still fulfilled by Amazon.

Dunno how to hold it properly - every time I inadvertently change the direction and that annoys the heck out of me. I'm using Craftman ratcheting screwdriver almost always because of that, even tho this one feels better quality

And, that might be important except that you are incorrectly thinking that doesn't apply to the other seller. Any Prime item gets the exact same benefit, and that includes the fulfilled-by-Amazon Prime items.

I've been a Prime member for probably 15 years and I haven't the slightest clue what you two are talking about. When I toggle my item to be shipped on my Amazon Delivery Day, there's never a discount. Just tried it with both sellers on this item. Bupkis.

Have this. Liked it at first, but the switch is too easy to be flipped accidentally, especially when used in high torque situations. Super annoying. The rubber somehow chafed my hand after 15 minutes of rigorous use.

Bought this, https://a.co/d/4XgWk3z, also made in Japan, love it way more! I feel like it's higher quality than the Vessel unit. More compact and the backdrag has very satisfying sound VS the loud clicks of the Vessel.

The Anex also has 72 teeth to the Vessel's 36. Not a huge deal, but another small perk in the mix

The inadvertent switch issue is one major regret of buying the Vessel. I should've looked beyond the made in Japan. Also the rubber doesn't seem durable over time as opposed to hard molded plastic.

I have both, and they aren't really comparable. The Vessel driver takes 9.5mm anvil bits and comes apart into a stubby. It makes a nice set with the Vessel torsion ball kit with the 30 bits.

Otherwise, I agree that the ANEX driver is excellent.

It's an even better tool with the ANEX mini mug catch thrown on, but the price is stupid high at the moment. Paid $6.38 in Oct 2023.
