I sincerely hope not to come across snobby, but I strongly advise against getting ANY $21 shoe for running. Unless you're "getting back out there" and want them to walk, or light jog (<2 mi and/or 10-min+ pace), or are starting your running hobby... maybe, but you'll find $21 will underserve you quickly. The features, sole foam quality, tread quality, heel drop considerations, and side support construction of these to me look like they'll injure you on a long run. There are plenty of $60 sales for Brooks (as a great example) on SD, just save up and get a pair that will last you far longer and serve you better.

Looks like a good price. Are any of these actually decent for running? Nothing too intense, maybe 4-5 miles on pavement.

Maybe the supernova but none of them are their mainstream running shoes with their more recent foam technologies, all budget line type stuff. I find these are generally better for leisure/walking than real workout running

I'm not a runner but supernova are great for people on their feet all day. Work retail and I loved all the supernovas over the years

Bough the Duramo ones last time around. These shoes have bad soles. So make sure you buy soles in Amazon in order to make them comfortable.

The Duramo Speed with Lightstrike look like they might be an okay budget running shoe.

Check your chase cards… my United chase card had an offer for 10% off. Another popular cashback site had another 10% on top of.

Can't speak for pavement, but I've swapping between the Duramo SL and the Speed on my tread. They're pretty good for that kind of thing.

Back in the day NBA players were wearing Converse All Stars so it's fine to wear these for casual running. Of course, there are many better options if you have the money and want to run on a more regular basis.

I got some Supernovas on a deal here a couple years ago and they are great shoes, light and comfortable. To be fair though I don't wear them all day every day.
