Yeah no way this set was worth its $79 msrp. I saw a post where someone bought 2 of these and combined them into a much better version of itself. Probably the size what this should have been to begin with.

I bought one at the $41.99 only because my daughter has had it on her shortlist for some time.

Doing your own moc or using instructions from someone else? Of the later, who's instructions? Most the ones I've found call for multiple of this set plus buying hundreds more extra pieces.

They have several on rebrickable, one calls for just two full sets with no extra pieces. Maybe an extra baseplate.

If it's not, I'm not aware…I'm not trying to break the rules.

Also I went back and bought a second set. The 2 set builds are pretty good and 2144 pieces for $84 is pretty good as well

If my daughter isn't interested in the double set build we'll just return one

I think the big win with the double set is you need it to make the full top globe, unless you purchase that part elsewhere.
