I need an air fryer and this seems like a good deal but everytime ima bout to buy one i read the comments and realize the thing might give me cancer apparently
While I completely and quantitatively agree with your statement about FDA policy above, I'd also say your trite posts, lacking details, end up more trolling and doom-saying than productive. Perhaps you could provide a post more supportive of your assertion. If not, please note that a foil liner for the air fryer can perform double-duty as a foil hat, to keep "Them" from reading your thoughts.

Oh, and for everyone else, I bought the 8-quart unit at Costco ($40 but w/ rack), and am very happy w/ it so far. I haven't experienced any problem with window fogging/soiling, and really like the window and interior light. I also completely agree with previous poster about the power button being easily mistaken for the "Start" button, and with the presets times being annoying (but in no way a deal-breaker). If things don't immediately wipe clean, I just fill it w/ warm or hot water, maybe a little dish soap, and everything generally wipes right out.. At the price point, and build quality, of most air fryers, I consider them a consumable, and went for the ~$40 Gourmia versus the $299 Breville "Smart Oven Pro", as numerous reviews, and great SD posts show the Breville is no more reliable, and no longer even has a user-replaceable fan (part no longer sold), than these cheap units.
Some people see "non-stick" or "Teflon" and get pretty OCD about it.

This is temperature controlled within the thermal ranges for Teflon so i'm not seeing the big issue for the rest of us.

I agree, but the colors aren't on sale.. just the white.. and (from the picture) it's hard to see the white buttons on the white surface.
When I click on each color, it says $35 starting on the 11th

Re: cleaning.

We use the paper liners from Amazon and it helps a lot.

Nice deal. I have an older Gourmia fryer and 8 quarts is ideal to make chicken wings. Took me a while to perfect the recipe, but they come out nice and juicy on the inside.

Can share if anyone needs it
YES please share the recipe

Teflon cookware has been PFOA-free since 2013. PFOA was previously used to make Teflon and could leach harmful chemicals into food.
Today's nonstick and Teflon cookware is considered safe for everyday home cooking, as long as temperatures do not exceed 500Β°F. Teflon cookware is made from(PTF polytetrafluoroethylene E), which is inert and won't react with chemicals in or outside the body. The US FDA considers Teflon nonstick pans to be safe for food processing.

All colors are now available at $35. Sucks that early access is only available for paid walmart + users & not free trial.

50 years later they are still trying to find the first cancer patients from microwave ovens and cellphone.

I suggest stocking up. Starting Jan 21st 2025, air fryers , any school material showing earth is a sphere and 5G phones may get banned

I got the same. My only gripe is that you can't adjust the preset times. Airfry is defaulted to 20 mins and almost anything I air fry is burnt on that setting.
I am using the same Air fryer bought from Costco. The temperature, pre-heat and timing can be manually. Just play with the controls to understand how.

All available for me. Probably depends on what's available at stores near you.

I use foil inside. I have no idea how people find time to clean these suckers
I've been doing the same, but with parchment paper liners....

Just make sure you really hunker down the piece of parchment paper with your nuggies or whatever you are cooking (DO NOT put light items in there, or else the parchment paper will fly around and light on fire).
