Oh, and for everyone else, I bought the 8-quart unit at Costco ($40 but w/ rack), and am very happy w/ it so far. I haven't experienced any problem with window fogging/soiling, and really like the window and interior light. I also completely agree with previous poster about the power button being easily mistaken for the "Start" button, and with the presets times being annoying (but in no way a deal-breaker). If things don't immediately wipe clean, I just fill it w/ warm or hot water, maybe a little dish soap, and everything generally wipes right out.. At the price point, and build quality, of most air fryers, I consider them a consumable, and went for the ~$40 Gourmia versus the $299 Breville "Smart Oven Pro", as numerous reviews, and great SD posts show the Breville is no more reliable, and no longer even has a user-replaceable fan (part no longer sold), than these cheap units.
This is temperature controlled within the thermal ranges for Teflon so i'm not seeing the big issue for the rest of us.

We use the paper liners from Amazon and it helps a lot.
Can share if anyone needs it
Today's nonstick and Teflon cookware is considered safe for everyday home cooking, as long as temperatures do not exceed 500Β°F. Teflon cookware is made from(PTF polytetrafluoroethylene E), which is inert and won't react with chemicals in or outside the body. The US FDA considers Teflon nonstick pans to be safe for food processing.
I hope this lasts as long as my current 6 Qt. Gourmia which I have had for 4 years.ππ

Just make sure you really hunker down the piece of parchment paper with your nuggies or whatever you are cooking (DO NOT put light items in there, or else the parchment paper will fly around and light on fire).
