So, who approve the card in Chase doesn't know Amazon Prime member has to login before see the offer.
I can't understand this behavior in US, phone call has magic powers and still be the #1 "security proof" process.

Can I cancel the card immediately and still keep it?
Have you heard of Chase's 5/24 rule? Open and close may be considered as two. Also, each open and close will ding your credit score respectively.

Wouldn't mind keeping this as my prime only purchases card for 5% back all the time.
Edit: Found my the answer: No, you can't transfer the points. Amazon chase points stay with amazon

You can but it will hit your score while opening and closing the CC. You will miss prime 5% back too. Think twice before you submit Apply application.
I thought I read that someone can link to a main family Amazon prime account and still get this card
I am wondering the same.
I don't think cancelling prime cancels the card; just downgrades.
