I tried some weeks ago and instead of Chase issue the card, they sent me a letter saying to call them because someone could steal my data and applied for a card lol.

So, who approve the card in Chase doesn't know Amazon Prime member has to login before see the offer.

I can't understand this behavior in US, phone call has magic powers and still be the #1 "security proof" process.

Same thing happened here - but they sent letter asking additional info and went to bank to submit it and no reply after that. What a waste of time

Thanks! Was looking to drop my sapphire card. My credit is 800+ and I only have a few cards. Could be why mine was an immediate approval. Amazon $200 in my account in a few seconds.

Oh man. That stinks! The only way I caught it was the Chase credit card had loaded to our Chase online (banking) account so I saw a balance on there of our monthly prime payment. Otherwise I probably would've missed it too. Definitely amazons fault tho! I think it's shady to automatically switch it! At least provide an option when you're approved!

I haven't received the card yet and when I tried to use the bonus to buy something, it popped up the message asking me for 3 digits code of the card. How to prevent that?

Why does my amazon account not have $200.00? I didn't get approved instant this time but had to call. Chase told me will add it to my account. But now I didn't see anything. Who should I call to ask?

But you have to wait to receive the card in order to do any shopping using that $200 bonus because it will pop-up to ask for 3 digits on the back of the card. It happened to me.
