So, who approve the card in Chase doesn't know Amazon Prime member has to login before see the offer.
I can't understand this behavior in US, phone call has magic powers and still be the #1 "security proof" process.

We just did the same thing. I already had a Prime Visa and it's my Amazon account. My wife applied with her info and she was approved and got the $200 GC in my account immediately. She bought a MacBook Air and got the $200 and put it on her new card. All in 5 mins
