So, who approve the card in Chase doesn't know Amazon Prime member has to login before see the offer.
I can't understand this behavior in US, phone call has magic powers and still be the #1 "security proof" process.

Don't forget that any Amazon purchases made with it get you 5% cashback, and sometimes more depending on the category and any promos they're running. I just got 15% back on an annual subscription to Norton Security. It's kind of a no brainer to use it for all Amazon purchases.
Worked for me too just now. I also have an excellent credit score and got approved instantly. No issues or delays.
debt is inherently bad to those who don't manage it and CC companies still bank on that. The idea is if you are approved, use it for prime subscriptions pay it off and put it away. You should really only use CC for things you can afford to pay cash for. If you can't afford it don't buy it. Get off SD and do some budgeting 😊

So if someone wants to get this card for the $200 then cancel it because they can't trust themselves with it, then they're bad with debt and shouldn't tempt fate (and do damage to their credit either way). But if they want to do this because they think that debt is just bad, then they're subscribing to an outdated view of debt that predates modern capitalism, which is all about debt and its proper use, and should probably just pass on this offer.

They called me today and completed the application and issued me the $200 gift card. Great that it went through, but I missed out using it for the BF haul.
