Does PlayStation allow a balance to be kept in the account when your redeem this? I want to add it to the account to ensure someone else doesn't use the code in sent. Then use that money to redeem for their PlayStation Plus when it's time to renewal for the year.

Last time I used a code to purchase membership, the balance stayed in my PS account.

$100 code for $82+, left $11 sitting in PS after buying PS membership last year.
