Interesting. Looking back at the old FP post in 2023, it seems that item has been removed from Amazon and this is supposedly the 2024 upgraded model as stated in the title of the product. Exactly how different is it? Who knows.

Be aware these things are more fragile than most battery packs. I had the Baseus version of this with the built-in usb-c and lightning cables on the side and wireless charging. Seemed like a great product. Then, a couple weeks past the 1 yr warranty, it fell off my nightstand about 10-12 inches onto soft, plush carpet with a thick mat/carpet pad underneath. It might as well have fallen onto a pillow. Bam, dead. Won't charge.

I own two of these for about a year now. They do get hot while using and sometimes causing the my iPhones to be overheat. I wouldn't leave it unattended while charging for your own safety.

Description says "2024 upgraded version, optimizes charging experience and reduces heat generation during wireless charging" so I'm assuming they addressed the issue with the older models. For 10 bucks I figure it's worth a try but will definitely pay attention to how it behaves before return window closes.

Absolutely agree. But almost all wireless megasafe charger/battery overheats. Just keep that in mind.

I bought 3 in separate transactions.

I bought one a year ago from this co that was recalled for catching fire. Just last week it started expanding and cracked the mag-safe pad. Hopefully these work better / safer.

I just got this today and can confirm it gets hot. I would not recommend using this while using your phone but more as if you are charging it when you are not using it. That being said it seems like the charging light only goes up to 3. Is that dame for everyone else?
