I bought these Reliants last year in December during a similar deal for my 2012 Accord. I was pretty hesitant as I usually try to get highly ranked tires. But to be honest, these tires are great. They are as quiet as my prior Pirelli Cinturatos. Snow has been rare lately, so I didn't really get to test them on snow or ice. But they are great in rain, and I've been in torrential rainstorms on the highway with them. I don't drive at excessive speeds or very aggressive, so your mileage may vary. Can't say much about wear since it's only been one year and maybe 15,000 miles, but they look no better or worse at this point than more expensive tires did. I will probably get them again if this deal keeps coming back every November/December.
My luck, I just bought a set last week
I have had assurance 80000 mile tire they last a very long time

+ $28 /tire for installation + road hazard

since the walmart credit card is gone, is there any other option of free road hazard with the basic installation?
Walmart plus, will get you the road hazard for free

Can someone tell me should I go Kumho LX Platinum KU27 All-Season Tire - 195/65R15 91V or Goodyear Reliant All-Season 195/65R15 91H? Walmart doesn't sell Goodyear 195/65R15 91V version, all people say H version is not good, but the Kumbo 91V has only 50000 mileage warranty. My car is Honda Civic LX, it costs >=500$ for 4 tires replaced in Costco. Any suggestion, what should I get? thanks.
Get the Kumho, I was unhappy with the Reliant.

Don't buy if you drive down gravel roads. I had these on my wife's RAV4. I had multiple rock punctures and ended up changing them out after 15K miles due to multiple flats. One tire I patched 4 times within 15K miles.

I paid using Walmart GC and I had partial cancellation (2 out of 4); looks like while orders get instantly confirmed, the stock is checked later on and then you get either actual confirmation/cancellation
Same here. Ordered & got canceled 4 times.

Hi, the Kumho KU27 has Warranty Distance of 50000 miles, while GoodYear has Warranty Distance 65000 miles. Should I go Kumho for V instead of GoodYear's H? thanks.
The Kumho is geared for dry weather performance. Tire construction is also better than Goodyear's V. The Goodyear H is JUNK...AVOID.

My anecdotal experience:

Bought 225/65R17 Goodyear Reliant Tires for $90 each and install was $19 per tire.

Made appt. for Friday right when they open. Drop off was smooth exactly at 7AM, just had a printout of the order confirmation and handed to the associate. She gave me a barcode sticker to hold onto to check the status of my vehicle with the Walmart app. Took them 47 minutes (7:47AM) to even register my vehicle as "checked-in" and then another 13 minutes (8:00AM) for the status to be updated to "service has started." Finally got my "vehicle is ready" notification at 8:34AM.

Tires are dated manufactured 3224 (32nd week of 2024 so sometime in August). They looked new and the mounting/install looked like it was properly done aside from the insane amount of residual grease/lubricants on the rims and tire sidewall.

My initial impressions on my 25-mile highway drive to work is that the tires handle much better, but road noise is basically the same as the Dunlops that were on the car from the factory and had 2/32" tread left before the replacement with the goodyears.

Time will tell if they last a decent amount of mileage, but the price was very enticing.

I bought the 215/55/17 Reliant and had them installed the next day. I was out the door in 55 minutes. The new tires' manufactured date is 2924. I think the tire handles better and is quieter than the stock Michelin Primacy MXV4 with a 3714 date code and has done 33k miles.

The old tires have plenty of treads left and no visible signs of dry rot or cracks. However, I took advantage of the price point for some peace of mind.

If I may add, I asked the tech what their recommended tire rotation intervals looked like. I was shocked when he said every after 2 oil changes! I said, in my case, that is 2 years because I barely make 4k miles hence, I change oil annually. He suggested I should change the oil every 3 months. I'm like wtf, I said I followed the car manufacturer's recommended oil change interval. What's the oil change got to do with the scheduled tire rotation? I'm asking because I don't want to void the warranty if I miss the scheduled tire rotation. Then he changed his statement and said every 6k.

But anyway, the tire rotation intervals according to the service agreement are every 6k - 7.5k miles.
The tire is $77 each, regulatory fees & taxes = $7, WalMart tire disposal fee = $8, Tire installation = $72 + CA tax = $33.25. The total cost is $428.25

Anyone else get a super old tire? Mine has a date of 1119.
EDIT: Thanks for the comments. I was looking at the wrong number. New ones are all mid-2024.

Is this brand sold at walmart only? I have heard trash talk about Goodyear Assurance and Reliant.
I bought two Assurance tires 6 years ago at Walmart and they have been great. I will be replacing them with the Reliant tires this year. I replaced my other two tires last year with Reliant tires and they have been great so far. The only bad part was having to deal with the Walmart Auto Care Center, but the inconvenience is worth it for the price.

The price looks very attractive, about half of that of the cheapest tires at Costco. Can I buy the tires now, and go back to Walmart for installation in a year? Or does Walmart run the promotion every Thanksgiving?
There's no guarantee they will be the same price next year, but the Reliant and Assurance tires were exactly the same price last November.

This might be the last time I buy tires through Walmart. I have to schedule an appointment (soonest was 3 days after purchase) for 12pm-1pm. I arrived at 11:50. Car didnt get pulled in until just after 4. Whats the reason for this appointment bullshat? It takes just as long to get serviced now as it did before this appointment crap started.
