probably a good thing for the viability of the co-op. doing some digging on Reddit it appears it's not necessarily based on # of returns, but what cost the returns have created for the co-op. example: someone buys a pair of high end hiking snow boots. wears them for 6 yrs and returns them destroyed. basically a total loss for the co-op. VS....someone buys a pair of hiking snow boots, doesn't even get to wear them due to an injury, and returns them 2 yrs later still in the box just sitting in the closet
REI is looking at your entire membership return history in establishing if you are on their new list for return ban, not just since the post policy change. the woman in the video has been a member for almost 15 yrs

However if what that lady says is true, most of her returns were online orders for items not carried in the store, and did not fit and thus were returned in new condition / NWT. I wouldn't call that a serial return abuser.
If all of her returns were clothes worn to shreds over 6-10 years, and then returning them to REI....that I have issue with
