Definitely doesn't sound like a Walmart, Goodyear, or Kumho problem. Sounds like you just need to go buy yourself some new rims or a new car. There's No way 2 different sets of tires, from two different manufacturers are leaking the same way. If they're aluminum alloy wheels that have some type of clearcoat, sometimes the clear breaks down where the tire bead seats and can cause very slow leaks, cast aluminum wheels can also just become porous over time. If they're Steel wheels, they could be rusting through. You could also have leaking valve stems/tpms. And then you also have the obvious psi drop when the weather gets colder. My suggestion is to pull off the rim and tire that loses pressure the quickest, fill up your bathtub and submerge the rim and tire under the water to see where the air bubbles are coming from. I can just about guarantee the leaks aren't the tires fault unless you've run over some type of foreign object.

This is around how these tires are always priced. Some may be very slightly below typical but the list prices on the ones showing a 50%+ strikethrough discount are a joke. I've had 215/50R17 in my cart for nearly a month and the price hasn't changed.

That being said, based on my research when looking for a new set of tires for my old beater these seem like a good budget tire, especially if you live somewhere it doesn't snow.

Someone needs to look at your wheels, your wheel surface is probably bent or damaged, that is common. The average tire installer should be spraying soapy water and verify. They sell a bead sealer product used at installation to make up for imperfections. Or, move to a better neighborhood.
Right on appreciate the feedback rather than the down vote of the douchebags. For them buy the tires I don't care.

If you're going to return tires based on where they're manufactured, good luck with that. It's not as if you can pick them yourself.
Except you can.

The origin of the tire stamp, or DOT number, can be traced back to the 1970s when the US government became more involved in regulating car safety. The National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act was established in 1966 in response to rising road accidents and public concern over vehicle safety. The DOT number was created to ensure that all tires sold in the US meet specific safety requirements.
The DOT number is a Tire Identification Number (TIN) that's molded into the sidewall of the tire. The TIN includes the following information:

Plant: The first three characters of the TIN indicate the plant code.

Tire size: The second grouping of characters identifies the tire size.

Manufacturer's date: The last four numbers indicate the week and year the tire was manufactured. For example, a tire with the number 2910 was manufactured in the 29th week of 2010.

The DOT symbol certifies that the tire manufacturer complies with the US Department of Transportation's safety standards.

All show out of stock in Alaska. Could have used new rubbers for the El Camino.

There's a 99.9% chance you could just buy the 245/40R19's for $106 and not have any issues. Most OEM rims can usually accommodate going to a wider or smaller tire a couple sizes from the stock width.

And the diameter difference is only .3", its 26.7" for the 245's and 26.4" for the 235's. I think that's only about a 1.2% difference for your speed and odometer reading. At 100mph on your speedometer reading, you'll actually be going 101.2mph. And in general going a little taller usually helps the ride quality a bit too.

yeah I'm pretty sure it's more of an install error. Rims are good. They're not rusty at all. Valve stems again install error. Different tires on different rims were leaking so.

Well that's unfortunate then. Installing tires isn't rocket science, I wonder which step of the 5 step (6 if you get new valve stems) tire change process your inept Walmart Tire guys are messing up then? I've actually never had Wal Mart mount and balance a tire before, but I have had about 8 different shops install about 60 sets of tires over my lifetime and the only installer issues I've ever had have been them screwing up a directional tire in the wrong direction, and scuffing my rims a couple of times. The leaks I've had have all been rim issues, valve stem leaks or road hazards. My daughter's 2007 jeep compass wheel was slowly leaking around the bead due to the rim coating deteriorating. I had to take the rim and tire back up, have them dismount it, take it home, wire wheel the bead seal, prime it, clear it and take it back up to get remounted. Never had another issue. My other daughter had a 2010 escape that had a similar issue with two of her 4 rims, she sold it before I had a chance to investigate or fix it.

I can almost guarantee most chain tire shops are doing the bare minimum for a dismount/mount and balance. Meaning, I doubt they're carefully looking at the condition of the rim before they put the new tires on. I learned early on a lot of times they won't even scrape off mud, asphalt chunks or even old wheel weights before they re-balance them. I wish you luck finding a good tire shop, that you can trust.

I replaced my OEM Kuhmos with these in the summer and they are a very good tire for these prices.

I bought these and had a horrible installation experience at my local Walmart. Had to reschedule three times due to no technicians working that day. All last minute or no notification. Then they broke my tire pressure sensor, and one (out of the four) of the tires they sent was the wrong size. Sorry... not sorry but do yourself a favor and avoid this all together.
