is this CPU part of that major intel issue that was discovered earlier this year? i cant seem to find any mention of the exact CPUs that were affected.

13th and 14th gen Intel processors. If it's not NIB, then it is questionable.

This deal is pretty good for an overclockable i9 processor.

Nope, that was 13th and 14th gen intel processors. Mainly a software issue with the bios that was causing that and they did have some early manufacturing defects as well early on that were addressed. I had a faulty 13th gen myself but was one of the first to get a 13th gen early on. Several bios updates were released and from reviewers state is that with the latest vcore stepping bios fix it has stopped voltage from spiking even when the cores are parked at idle.

13700KF was $199.99 last week from Woot they sent 13700K if don't use Auto Voltage on motherboard 13-14th gen is fine.

No way a low profile Noctua L12S could keep this cool in a Meshlicious, right?

My liquid-metal'd 6700k peaks around 75C or about 87C before the mod. Add GPU load in the case and it jumps 10C.

This thing would cook, right? Considering the 7800x3d as my best option for performance/temps in ITX SFF
