These aren't even the same models. The one over here is with the 120Hz OLED display and the one in your link is with the 60Hz IPS.
And if fan noise and bloatware are the things that turn you off then you might not be suitable for a laptop.

Yes, but I'm speaking more to the construction (chassis) and said it's not apples to apples Will be interested to hear reports of how the case holds up on this model.

I bought one of these brand new when they came out. I liked the construction and the OLED screen was beautiful, but after only 5 or so hours of usage the CPU failed. Acer wanted to bring it in for a repair, but I just returned it to Amazon and got my money back. I'm not surprised they're hitting the refurb market now.

8845HS is fantastic. I truly can't believe how much gaming I'm able to do on an ultrabook with an iGPU. Manage your expectations, I'm usually changing settings down to like 1080p, 60 Hz, Medium but I've been playing modern 3D games with those settings. I haven't played any of the games you mentioned, but I imagine this laptop would crush those games.
