I own this and the color on the card does not match the color on the board, hopefully they fixed this at some point

The way we get around the color/card issue is by referring to the color directly on the board.

We also have everyone take a card at all times so you can plan ahead and have a clue ready for when it's your turn.

That reduces the downtime and also eliminates the likelihood of someone else noticing where on the board you're looking, since they're focused on their own.

Also there are way too many greens and yellows and not enough blues on the board.
So many green tiles look exactly alike, but the blue section is really crowded

My kids love this game, it's not bad with 4 or so people but if you have all the players it can end up rather long.

As someone with colorblindness, I cannot think of a worse game I'd want to play.

Why is green the most visible color? [google.com]

The board has soooo many greens and is lacking a deep saturated blue [canva.com]. If you have played the game before you will immediately see this

Have a group of friends that regularly play board games together and this is one in our rotation. Super simple to play after you learn how it works. It's fun and interesting as you have to really get creative with the color descriptors you use, but there is the problem that the specific colors on the cards do not perfectly match the boards colors, which can lead to some confusion. The manufacturer just went cheap with the printing. Still a fun and easy game, as long as you aren't colorblind!

I played it with some friends on a cottage trip. It's good for that situation because it's easy to play when you've had a few beers. A lot of games have complicated rule sets and unless you play them a lot it's not as fun, and the new players will obviously get beaten by experienced players. And games that are complicated tend to run long and half the people lose interest.

This is a fun, simple game that you can just jump into to kill some time. One of our friends was partially colourblind and actually won.
