I also bought one of these the last time it was on sale for $37 and it worked out! It had all the fake reviews then as well, but the gamble worked out imo.

Does this connect to existing speakers in the vehicle? Meaning will it play through Bluetooth on the car audio system or only through the internal speakers?

I'm wondering if I could make this work in my 2016 Mazda CX-5, which doesn't have a 12V power outlet on/near the dashboard. Anyone know how long the cord is for connecting to 12V power? I think I'd need at least 4 feet, maybe 5.

just splice on a longer wire or get a 12v extension cable from amazon.
