Since the other guy focused on health and the environment, I'd just like to add that polyester is an incredibly uncomfortable fabric to wear/ sleep in. It may feel incredibly soft and 'nice' but it's quite literally a type of plastic and therefore doesn't breath at all. In addition to that, it's hydrophobic so when you inevitably sweat from the material, it will just sit between your skin and the material.

You will never catch someone with money buying polyester; it's the opposite of luxury and you definitely don't want to sleep in it.

I like them. They're warm but don't cause overheating. Pro-tip if you like being extra warm and like a faux weighted blanket feel, get the king size to fold in half
