About 5 good movies here, a lot of duds, and not MA. Crud. But hey, I love SD'ers for finding such deals anyhow.

On Apple, there looks like there's one SD movie (so, it's currently like their previous Columbia / MGM bundles). Needs to be corrected before buying there.

I thought House of 1000 Corpses was that dark comedy with Jack Black as a funeral director. Boy, was I wrong.

Get the heck out of here with that only "5 good". There are a bunch of cult classics and even some bigger hitters here! Not a bad mix!

I found it on Apple Store on my iPhone by Searching on "Lionsgate 5" if I added the zero after the 5, it lost the bundle....duh. That's my experience.

So does Apple not upgrade to 4k in Lionsgate bundles? Or are none of these in 4k yet?

How long will this deal last?

Lots of 4K if you buy from Apple, waiting for someone to make a list.

A SImple Favor

Looks like most of these are available free (with ads) on Prime, Freevee, Tubi & Plex.

iTunes still show it as SD Bundle. If that remains the case don't bother buying from Apple as those do not upgrade to higher resolution even if 4K is available for the film.

FWIW, I purchased a previous iTunes bundle before I knew many of the included movies were SD and I was able to submit a refund request and purchase it again once they corrected the bundle.

I would normally jump on a deal like this. I'm downsizing and passing out my physical media stuff to friends. But when I look at the bundle on iTunes on my iPad, it's an SD bundle. When I open the bundle on Apple TV app on Windows PC - no such label and looking at individual titles I see 4k, etc.

I know it's been stated not to buy until it's corrected. Do these things get corrected and if so, how long until Apple gets their shit together?

They may or may not fix it in time. Few months ago all the Paramounts Iconic Films of the #0's were all on sale, but they never fixed the Iconic Films of the 60's which remained SD for weeks until the deal ended.
