All current Tracfone , Straight Talk, Total Wireless, Simple Mobile ONLY operates and activates on the Verizon Network exclusively. That's cause Verizon bought all of them. So any new phone will unlock in 60 days from ALL of them.

This has been your PSA.

$262 otd to California. After reading 25 pages, here's my summary:

1. Use PayPal to get 7.5% back by logging into your PayPal account and search for promos, select StraightTalk. Will take you directly to StraightTalk site. That's what i did.
2. Chase card has 15% promo but caps at $15 discount, based on other users. I do not have Chase.
3. Purchase iPhone 13 with Silver plan. Must be Silver or higher to get $200 phone discount.
4. Do not select autopay to see PayPal payment option.
5. You can ship to different address if you're gifting it. They just need to understand the terms if they plan to unlock and use elsewhere or just stay with StraightTalk.
6. New phone needs to be activated, through StaightTalk online, for 60-day unlock countdown to begin. Phone does not need to be opened/used.
7. After the 30 plan expires, do not purchase another plan. Use it on WiFi or not at all.
8. After 60 days, phone will automatically unlock for any carrier.
9. Text "UNLOCK" to 611611 to confirm/see countdown.
10. Hope all goes well for us all.

You don't need to do anything. It should get unlocked after 60 days. Some rare case it didn't get unlocked, go https://www.tfwunlockpolicy.com/wps/portal/ and give the imei (and the phone number you got) and it will let you "reprocess" the unlock request online, if you still can't get it unlocked, you just call the phone number on that web page and they will unlock it for you. With that said, most time it will get unlocked automatically and you don't need to do anything.

For the cash back we have to use paypal reward points? Or I can just pay using my credit/debit card?

From PayPal T&C
To receive cash back, you must redeem Points and have a PayPal account in good standing.

That's true, sometimes it's not worth the trouble. I'm going to see if I can sell my two SE3 locally for a good price, if not then they are going to Apple as well.
They were 150 a few months ago, which was what the same price I bought from straight talk.. its like renting it for free for 1.5 years.. lol

You screwed it up when you used an active sim. You have to pay for and use a ST plan, which was attached to the sim that came with the phone. You can't use an active sim and get it unlocked.
I have used sim that was included in phone instead straight talk I used total as wireless provider because I have total wireless ( I have buy at Walmart 199. Deal for pick up ) it activated I am using it just unlocked is now jeopardized now sure total will unlocked after 90 days or not ? I will total after 60 days and see

Is there a way to activate the line using the IMEI associated with the eSIM?

Tried to activate my phone today by first entering the IMEI number printed on the box and received a "technical issue" error message. Tried again with an agent and they took the SIM card number from me but then said that the error is that the SIM card they sent me was 4G and not compatible with the phone which is 5G. They are shipping another SIM card but sounds like BS to me.

So, I am wondering if I should try activating again using the IMEI associated with the eSIM. I am afraid that if I use this IMEI and the activation process asks for a SIM card number, I don't have another SIM card at the moment.

Need to use physical sim included with purchase so that plan you purchased gets activated correctly otherwise you might have to buy another plan.

I had the same thing here.. The phone agent wasn't able to lookup the order, nor activate the phone, nor process a return.. How did you end up getting it fixed?
The phone agent kept saying the phone now belongs to Total by Verizon, and cannot switch back to Straighttalk, and wasn't able to find I had ordered the $45 prepaid plan.

Quote from Based_God101 :
Literally happened to me. It's gonna suck, legit took me almost 4 hours of taking to various people to fix it. They're gonna tell you you need a pin or to send it back. If they won't listen just ask to speak with someone else/higher up. Even if you get a supposed supervisor, they'll still ask the same thing and won't help. No matter how many times you explain the situation they'll just say the phone should've came with a pin or plan card (it shouldn't) Just stress you have your order number and you paid your month already.

Also I think their customer service is in the Phillipines (based on accent) and a lot of my calls there was so much background noise you won't understand shit. I kid you not, someone sounded like they were in a car. You could hear the motor and they sounded so far away. Most frustrating customer experience I've ever had to deal with.

Hope this helps anyone with questions-
-Ordered 2 separate phones in 2 orders (both as a guest user)
-Received 2 phones yesterday
-Activated both at https://www.straighttalk.com/activation (2 new numbers)
-Used the IMEI only
-During the process logged in to my straight talk account as one of the steps during activation
-Opened the phone(s) and setup with the sim provided.
-Line is active both on the phone and also shows 2 lines in my straight talk account.
-Texted 2 times UNLOCK from the 2 phones and got the message it will be unlocked in 2 months.
End

I was able to order two iPhone 13s online from Walmart and get it delivered for $199 each, and I didn't had to pay for the plan. Activation information is attached to the box, just like I got directly from this deal (StraightTalk). What's the best way to get the phones to unlock in 60-days? I think I need to activate both lines, but since I already have the phones (for $199), do I need to activate Silver $45 plan or there is a cheaper plan. If there's a cheaper plan, is there a risk that the phones might not get unlocked if I don't use the Silver plan? Thanks.

Cap one changed to now 8% cash back I guess. Do we need to do anything to see the extra 10%? I never tried any cash back sites. Is urlhasbeenblocked a legit site, says 15%. I see PayPal 7.5% too. Thank you

Hi, has anyone been able to order more than 2 phones? Was trying to get 4 for me, my wife and our two kids.

I placed first order with my name and email and CC went through fine and got all the confirmation and everything, placed a second order in my wife's name, used her CC and email for sale confirmation then next day her order got canceled, said order was possibly placed fraudulently. Placed a second order in my wife's name the next day used a different email and CC since it wouldn't give the discount using the same email as it said the promo had already been used on this account. Order went through then about 8 hours later got a email saying your order was successfully cancelled like I tried cancelling it myself. So thought maybe t had something to do with tracking her name since the first one said fraudulent order, so tried again this morning using my name and different email and CC again and just got another your order was successfully cancelled email after first email showed as order went through.

Guys, don't buy! The SIM cards provided with the phone are incompatible, and I've been on calls with representatives who have no idea how to activate them. I've been transferred to multiple customer reps, but still no help. Some lucky people might manage to activate theirs, but lately, phones are being shipped without proper SIM cards or PIN numbers.
Shipped from Straight Talk or Walmart? Phones haven't come with separate pin cards for over 3 years.
No one else has reported having the same problem - unless they tried activating on the wrong network.

Ok, I was finally able to activate my phone through the refund department. The representative there understood the problem and managed to activate it for me. That said, I think this purchase is a hit-or-miss situation. Be patient and watch out while activating. Good luck, guys! 👍

The $200 discounted is limited to two lines per account. If you try ordering more you will end up paying $399 for them.
