If you aren't aware, Paramount+ has free 1 month codes all the time. You can use a free 1 month code, cancel the subscription before you're billed and then after the month passes and the subscription ends you can repeat with a new 1 month promo. You can keep doing this over and over. Latest code : 7W3PH6WB85 from another post here.

edit : the free codes work for the ad free version including Showtime

For anyone who can take up this offer, but already has an active subscription with some other discount (like 25% off), you can get your new coupon code, chat with Paramount+ support online, and ask them to remove your current discount. That will enable a "redeem coupon" link in your account page, and then you can apply the code for the 50% off discount.

If your subscription is currently active, the discount is not retroactive, and your subscription will not be extended or refunded anything. The new 50% discount will be applied the next time your sub renews.

Leaning towards: Unless Walmart+ equals the deal on Ad-Free.

The Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan is ad-free and includes access to Showtime's entire library of programs, live access to your local CBS station, and expanded sports access.

You can take advantage of the military discount at any time, as the military discount is no longer a limited time offer."

Annual Ad-Free is double the cost of Paramount+ Essential.

Paramount has the worst app ever. Hasn't worked on my Samsung TV in almost two years. I have to buy it through Amazon as an add on and the Walmart + doesn't apply

The built in P+ app on my LG OLED is terrible. I bought a cheap Roku and P+ works great. I actually use the Roku now for all my streaming as it is better than the built in apps on my LG.

So if I read you correctly, Paramount+ should work fine w/ older or newer Roku?

After their Yellowstone BS, not showing the second half season premiere on Paramount+ I will never give them another dime and I will avoid any company that advertises or does business with them.

Should work fine with your Roku.

My P+ was unwatchable using my tv app. Roku cleared that up immediately.

This makes P+ with Showtime $60 a year - not bad. Resumed my sub at that rate.
I use the app on my Fire stick and it seems to work well.

First time hearing/using sheer ID and giving them my military ID stuff, just not comfortable about doing that.

I, for one, believe our veterans deserve better than this.
